A trader wishing to trade futures or options must first apply with an FCM or futures introducing broker to open a futures trading account. After account opening procedures are completed and the required margin has been deposited, the trader can buy and sell futures or options through the FCM or futures introducing brokers.

Courses at the Futures Trading Education Center are currently only open to people employed in the futures industry.
